Family Pictures

We had family pictures with both sides of the family while we were in Park City. They turned out great.

Park City

Every year we have a family week in Park City with my parents.. It is alot of fun. It's not to far away but far enough you feel like you are on vacation. There was no snow so we didn't go sledding this year, but we went swimming alot.

It was fun just being up there with family. Let keep on the tradition!

DisneyLand

DisneyLand was a great trip. It was the Baker Family trip. Only some of us went though. It was Scott's parents, Steven & Michelle, and our family. It was the kids first time flying and they did great, but I am glad that it was a short flight. It was a great time to go. There wasn't very many people there. Some rides we were just walking on. Ansley was able to go on alot of the big rides this time. She really liked that. I got hooked on pin trading. I love it. It is so fun. I collected alot of cool ones. I can't wait to go back.

Halloween!

We I have some sad news. I can't find my memory card from Halloween and part of Disney Land. So sorry I have no pictures. Halloween was a little crazy this year. Scott and I got home from Mexico on Monday night and then were home for 3 days had a fun Halloween. Andrew was a monkey and Ansley was Tinker Bell. They were so cute. The weather was great for Halloween. You could actually see the costumes this year. Scott stayed home and handed out candy because he got sick with the 24 hour bug, and I took the kids out. The kids loved Trick or treating. Hopefully I can find my memory card and post some pics.

Pumpkin Cookies

I love this time of year for so many reasons. And one of those reasons are Pumpkin Chocolate chip cookies. Well I made some last week and I gave one to Andrew. I think he like them as much as I do. I loved these pictures of him.

Pumpkin Pickin'

My parents grow pumpkins every year and have the kids come and pick out which ones they want. Ansley always has to have the biggest one and then she pick out everyone elses. It is so fun. This year my parents grew some gourds and while we were picking them we found a big fat frog. Ansley thought that was so cool. All she wanted to do was hold it.(I hope she doesn't get warts!) It was a fun night. Thanks Mom and Dad for growing pumpkins for us!

Mexico!

Well I am back from Mexico feeling great and tan! Scott and I went on a couple only trip. It was really fun. We went with our friends the Hamilton's, Watson's and the Thueson's. WE went to Mazatlan. It was HOT! I am glad that all we did was play in the pool and in the ocean. Then at night we got ready for the day and went out to eat. I loved the food. It was really good, and I am really not a mexican food eater. The trip was great. Thanks to everyone that helped out with the kids. They had a fun time too. I really started missing them on day 6, but it was nice to just be with Scott. Thanks babe for a great Vacation, I love ya! Let's go back soon.

The friendly Deer

The other day I was outisde and I saw a deer at our neighbors house. So I ran in the house and told Ansley and got the camera. Ansley thought it was so cool. All she wanted to do was pet it. So we walked closer to it and it just started to walk away, so we followed him to the other neighbors house. I got really close to him and then he started to run and ran right past ANsley. She was so excited to be so close to him. Well for the rest of the night all she wanted to do wa follow and chase the deer. Ansley loves animals (any kind)!

OCTOBER!!

Am I the only one that thinks that time is just flying by? I can't believe it. But I love this time of year. I love the the colors, crisp, cool air and love the smells! It makes me all giddy inside. Sorry I haven't worte in a while so here is a recap from the last 2 weeks.
*Well dancing with the stars started and Ansley loves that show (Now Andrew too)
When ever it comes on Ansley has to get her dancing dress on. Well Andrew didn't want to miss out on all the fun so he brought me one of Ansley's dress so he could dance too. It was so funny.
*Scott and I had our Fast Start Conference for our business. It was great. I am so excited for the rest of the year. Our business is really taking off. We didn't get to see Scott to much, but we know it won't last forever. Ansley knows that when daddy's gone he is working so she can go to Disneyland. Which we are leaving in 31 days! YAH!
I will try not to blink this month and we will see if I can keep up on the time!

My Dad's 50th Birthday!

Today is my Dad's 50th Birthday! This last past weekend my Mom & I threw him a surprise party. It was a lot of fun. We invited old friends, new friends & family. My social bug dad was totally in his element. Here are few thing's about my dad...

1- he loves the outdoors- cabin, hunting, fishing...

2- he loves a good steak and baked potatoe and veggies. (Even though he is the one who cooks it.)

3- He loves his little grandkids. (Can you blame him?!)

4- He is always thinking of others. He is very caring.

5- He loves to travel. (Even though he doesn't do it enough.

6-He is a very hard worker.

My dad is great. He has taught me alot of things over the years. I am so grateful for him and all that he does for me and my family. I love ya Dad. Happy Birthday.

p.s. Dad you would never know you were 50!

Ansley

Ansley is growing up way too fast. I was getting her ready for school last week and she wore the cutest little outfit. It was a dark pair of jeans a cute little white T and a brown cord jacket. I then did her hair and after I was done I looked at her and she looked like she was going to high school. I just can't believe how fast time goes by. Ansley loves school. She loves to learn and loves the social part too. (Where doesn't she love the social part?) She is learning to reconize letters and numbers. She is learning her phone number and how to spell her name. She is falling asleep in her own bed and not having to wear a pullup. She is such a wonderful little girl. She has made life so much fun. I love ya Ansley.

MR. Tomatoe Head

I just had to share this. I found Andrew in the garden the other day. He just had picked a big, red tomatoes and just started eating it like a apple. There were seeds and juice just running off his chin and hands. He was a total mess, but he ate the whole thing. It was so funny. He had a great nutritious lunch.

Started Dance again!

Ansley started dance this week. She goes Wednesdays @ 11:00. SHe loves going. SHe loves to dance and be with other kids. She is totally a social bug. We had gone to the mall a few weeks ago and she saw a tutu at a place and she wanted one so I decided I would make her one. She loved it. She wants to wear it every where. She is one funny gal!

SEPT!! Look back at summer

I can't believe it is Sept. I love this time of year, but the summer went by way to fast. Here is a recap of some of the things we did this summer...

*We ate lots of popcicles (Me more than the kids! I love those things)
*We ran through the sprinklers
*We went to the County Fair. I love the fair. It makes me feel like a kid again. It is a family thing very year.
*Scott and I went to San Francisco for a company trip. It was so nice to just get away for the weekend!
*Went to Chick-a-way (as Ansley would call it) for dress up like a cow day! That was fun. Now every time we go there Ansley wants to dress up.
*We went to the splash park a few times.
*Lot's of barbaques. Even though we didn't get together with all of our friends!
*We had a fun summer. I am so glad I got to spend this time with the kids. They made the summer fun. I love the way my kids just love life and just enjoy the moments. Thanks for a great summer.
